电影《为奴十二年》剧情：Solomon Northup (played by Chiwetel Ejiofor) is a free man who makes a living playing the violin, happily living with his wife and two children. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he is deceived by two white men, who promise him a job accompanying a circus performance in Washington. To his horror, Solomon wakes up to find himself enslaved and stripped of his freedom. Initially, he is sold to a kind-hearted man named Ford (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) and becomes a slave on his plantation. Later, he is sold once again, this time to a notorious slave owner named Epps (played by Michael Fassbender), who is known as the "slave breaker." Solomon is forced to toil in the cotton fields day after day, witnessing the tragic plight of his fellow slaves.
